Location and surroundings
The town’s central location on the Garden Route makes Island Vibe an ideal base to thoroughly explore the many renowned attractions in the area. The panoramic view from the Heads takes your breath away and is synonymous to Knysna as are oysters and the Knysna Seahorse. Knysna itself has so much to offer, it is a necessary destination on any traveller’s agenda. Set in an indigenous forested valley and bordered on the East by a deep blue lagoon, Knysna is the pearl of the Garden Route.
Services and facilities
The large wooden deck to the front of the rooms is a great sunny place to enjoy breakfast and has excellent views of the lagoon and the Heads. The best way to end your day is to join in our “social BBQ” – fires are lit every evening and coals ready for you to personally cook the authentic SA way. Grab you drinks from our bar, play pool. Our fully equipped self catering kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities is available to all guests.
