Hotel Firenze, Hostel in Palermo

very nice terrace on the roof; shared kitchen little bit dirty, but ok; nice staff, in the center of palermo; but also in nightlife street, could be loud, especially on weekends. all in all we enjoyed our stay!

Me and my boyfriend had stayed at a different hotel for 2 nights before arriving at Hotel Firenze. To be honest, the hostel itself looks very traditional, there aren't any lifts, and frankly when it comes to night time, all the corridor have very dim lights, so it looks abit spooky. Our room is a private room (which included shower), I agreed with someone else comment, it's almost like sleeping in a club. Seriously, we couldn't get to sleep until 4am because it was so hot and noisy, (and this was a wednesday night), can you imagine if it is at weekend?!?! I'm so glad we prospond our plan to getting up at noon and check out then! Anyway, the receptionists are very helpful. But very very honestly, I would never ever go back. If you like cleaniness and your sleep, don't bother choosing this hostel. I kept thinking those 2 nights at diff hotels prior to this hostel is much better!

We were there 2 times during our journey. It is nice because it is situated almost in the centre in the street with "night life"-it is funny. But there are some "-": it is closed at night (after 01.00) and opened only 1 or 2 nights at weekend.The girls at receptions are wonderful but always smth was wrong. To understand Palermo you should stay at this hostel at least for 1 night!!!!

The Directions are slightly wrong, as they take you to the accommodation, but not the office around the corner where you need to book in. The staff spoke only a little English. The breakfast was good
