This is a little romantic get away for the romantic artistic traveller, very cheap and very quaint with all you need, free internet too and Montematre at your doorstep. No noise as all rooms are i=singles and doubles, so all face out to street with beautiful windows. very friendly and accomodating staff. WC outside room was good idea. Shower inside small and good. We would stay there again.
Beware for you may have to climb 4 flights of stairs 2 -3 times a day if your room is at the top, though the place was clean it had an off-putting smell in the bedroom. On the last evening as it was my birthday we'd been out we returned about 11:30, two of my friends were not staying at the hotel an were just nipping up to use the toilet when the owner followed us up the stairs and barked at my friends to leave. It was rude and rather embarrassing, I understand he want's no hanky panky in the hotel but he just jumped to that conclusion. My friends and I were rather insulted. If he is so uptight he should at least put up a sign saying no visitors. My stay had been quite nice until then and I left with a bad feeling toward the hotel.
Great location! 5 minutes from Sacre Coeur & Moulin Rouge! Great hotel considering the price. Beds are pretty short though(about 1.80 or 1.90 meter)...

The hotel is situated on a smaller street, but although you hear lots of noise-specially in the morning. The glasses is not too thick. The room is quit small, but it has a sink, desk and a possibility to hang up your clothes. They clean your room nearly every day. You have one toilet in each floor, shared between up to 7 people. The showers cost 2 euro/ 7 minutes and is situated on the first floor.
