Very good location. Reservations handled with no problem. Excellent location. Rooms and bathrooms are not luxurious, but are clean. We recommend this hostal.
We really enjoyed our stay at Hostal Castilla II. Usually entrances to Hostals are a little scary, but here the entrance looks like the entrance to a hotel. The place is clean, they do your bed and clean the rooms every day. There is always someone there to assist you. They have free internet. The mattresses are in good condition. SO you do get a really good night sleep. I have gone to Madrid a couple of times and I have stayed at various Hostals before and to be honest this is one of the two that I have been most pleased with.
Located in a centric and strategic position in Madrid. A nice place to stay in, rooms are large and clean, and comfortable. The staff isok, everybody very kind and nice.
Great location, hostel clean and staff friendly.When arriving we got a taxi to the hostel cost £30 so its better getting the metro its only 1 euro it looks a bit daunting but it is easy to follow.
The hostel could not have been in a better position. The rooms were clean and my 7 fellow travellers were surprised at the quality and cleanliness for the price. Madrid is a wonderful city, this is an ideal base for touring with the Metro just over the road and most attractions within easy walking distance. Highly recommended.
