Haka Lodge Queenstown is brand new, it opened in 2013! The building's interior has been fully renovated to meet our standard of being an upmarket backpacker lodge.

Room types

We have 8 private rooms, a mixture of twins and doubles. All private rooms have TV's in them as well as linen and towels.

There are also five 4 bed dorm rooms and two 6 bed dorm rooms.
Our bunk beds have been custom built out of New Zealand timber and every bed has its own reading light, power socket and privacy curtain, as well as secure lockable storage under the beds. Linen included in the dorms, and guests can hire towels.

All of the kitchen and bathroom facilities are shared

Location and surroundings

Queenstown main centre is only 500m away including, supermarkets, restaurants and bars, activity providers. When you leave Haka Lodge, turn left, and the end of the street turn left again and you're standing at the top of the main street, looking into town.
