Friendly Auberge has been recently renovated from the popular Parc hotel in Colomiers, just minutes away from Toulouse.

Room types
The hostel has 28 rooms, within private (single, 2 or 3 beds) and dorms (4, 5, 6 or 8 beds).
Best prices are of course in the dormitories, however it may be worthy to spend a little more for more privacy in the private rooms.
All the rooms have private bathroom, some with terrace. All are facing a calm and beautiful park.
Bedding is included, not the towels thou, that can be rent locally.
Location and surroundings
Downtown Toulouse is just a 10 min car drive or by train in the Tisseo network (same Metro ticket). Also close to airport and Airbus industries. Just 400 meters away from the Saint Jacques de Compostelle train Station.
Services and facilities
There are kitchen facilities, but for the "lazy" guests there is a great restaurant (Dinner buffet for 15€) and bar. Special prices for hostel guests. Breakfast is included. An of course Wifi access. Books, games are at disposal of the guests in the lounge room.

The Hostel is located near the city center. If you go there from the airport, the best transport is to take the tram to Arenes Metro station and than bus n64.
Superb, excellent prices, really "friendly auberge"
In my 3 nights in the hostel I got the very typical hostel experience. Rooms, with kitchens and bathroom were not modern but cleaned regularly, mattresses and beds are not great, but average for a hostel. The kitchens are surprisingly well equipped. Downstairs there are cool common areas inside and outside, where I met a lot of cool young people to spend the days and nights with. There is a digital piano and more instruments you can play on and a washing machine that you can use for 3€ (hang-drying outside). The hostel is located close to the city center and there are plenty cute shops, stores, bars and restaurants nearby. At night it can become a little but sketchy at some corners. I would recommend staying there for an authentic hostel experience.
