Dana Tower Hotel, Hotel ★★ in Dana

Stayed at the Dana Tower Hotel for just one night at the beginning of November. The hotel will suit the budget traveller with no frills but providing you with a great Jordanian experience. The views through the valley are breathtaking and a trek down is well worth the effort. The rooms are basic with shared facilities that are satisfactory albeit a little temperamental, particularly the showers. There is a chill-out area which is great for relaxing and meeting other fellow travellers. The main highlight for me was the food - oh my god - it was so good. They provide at least 20 dishes for dinner and the taste is just something else. Well worth popping in there even if you aren't staying (if that's allowed!)

We loved our stay here, the owner is really helpful and friendly, the rooms are fairly basic but clean and traditional. Dana is lovely and we enjoyed relaxing on the terraces.
