Our modern hostel provides brand new facilities and a wide choice of accommodation in Helsinki’ s Vallila district.
Opened in 2012 after renovations, Cheap Sleep is a real hostel in Vallila district and a great base where to meet other interesting fellow backpackers. With a mix of private rooms and dormitories, this hostel is fully equipped for self-catering kitchen, dining area and an on-site supermarket.

Totally renovated in October 2016, CheapSleep is a relaxed, affordable and modern hostel located in the historic Vallila district of Helsinki. With excellent connections to the city-centre, airport, railway station and ferry terminals, combined with walking distance to Helsinki’s bar district Kallio, this newly renovated hostel offers a complete package of price, location and style. A large, central common room is key to what makes CheapSleep a fun, relaxed and social place to stay.

We are located in Helsinki’ s Vallila district, 10 minute by public transport to downtown and with easy access to a wide choice of destinations such as Kallio, Helsinki’ s upcoming night and entertainment hotspot.
Services and facilities
A large common room is the heart of Cheap Sleep where you can relax have fun and enjoy the social aspects of hostelling. A fully equipped kitchen and a dining area next to the common room, plus there's a supermarket on-site.
Towels and slippers are available from reception with additional fees.

Beautiful place! I loved it
I would be glad to recommend this hostel to my friends. Receptionists were very polite and helpful. It was on of the best hostels I've ever stayed.
Very good hostel, value for money. It is located not very far away from the center of the city, it is clean and rather cheap
