ChapiNorte BnB, Bed & Breakfast in Bogota

The staff are excellent and are very helpful. The location is in a good area for foreigners b/c of safety. Also close enough to el centro via the trans millenio. Bed was a little uncomfortable and shabby sheets, but for paying so little what does it really matter. Great Place to stay and would definitely recommend it.

Certainly Chapinorte is value for money in Bogotá. The facilities are very basic, but serve the purpose. Security is good and the immediate area the same. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The major drawback is that there is no TV whatsoever, although internet is available. If the cosmetics were improved I would stay there everytime I was in Bogotá.

I would not recommend this place. Bathrooms dirty without toilet paper. Owner dishonest about rates. Staff almost entirely homosexual and those staying there homosexual too...as if the place advertises for this kind of activity mostly. Place was un-kept and office was often closed so that you could not make or receive calls. No internets available. A losuy experience really!

I have really enjoyed my time at CHAPINORTE although I spent only one day. The place is clean, safe but without lockers and Diego, the guy who was in charge there did a very good job. Price fair.
