Location and surroundings
we are situated in the middle of the old quarter.we are 15mins from the train and bus stations and only a 5 min walk to the famous Hoan Kiem lake. all of the other major attractions are a short walk away museums,water puppet theatre,opera house...etc. as for the nightlife we are very close to extremely good vietnamese and western restaurants as well as a wide variety of bars and nightspots.
Services and facilities
breakfast(7am-10am), internet access and of course beer (7.30pm-8.30pm every night!!) are all free. we offer a range of tours (4,3 and 2 days) with Halong Bay and Sapa proving to be the most popular destinations. we also offer one day tours to Tam Coc, Perfume Pagoda,Mai Chau, Ba Be Lake,Ha Giang Rocky Valley and Ban Gioc Waterfall. we also do open bus and train tickets from Hanoi to a mulititude of places. flight tickets also available.

In my three visits to Hanoi during my time in Vietnam, I returned to CBH II each time. I really enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere and the staff's willingness to help out in any way. I definitely recommend it for anyone who is looking for somewhere cheap and in a key location, but is not too fussy about cleanliness and hygiene. I personally don't really mind about that stuff so it was perfect. It is still clean, but I just know it would not be up to some westerners' standards.
