About Bambuda Lodge
We can organize any and all of the available activities in the surrounding area. Tours and excursions can be booked with a simple phone call and many of the companies will pick you up and drop you off right from Bambuda Lodge. We will gladly explain everything you need to know about the area, and which activities will best suit you, depending on your interests. You can have an action packed vacation on any budget.
Our property is covered by lush natural rain forest with 30 different kinds of fruit trees growing.Behind the hotel you will find miles of available hiking in our own private jungle.

Dorms have space for 22 people in total. 11 in each dorm.
We have 7 private rooms, all located in the large back house on the hill.
3 private rooms with shared bathrooms (sharing 2 toilets and 2 showers).
4 private rooms with private bathrooms.
Location and surroundings
We are located on Isla Solarte at the heart of all the attractions of the Bocas del Toro Archipelago.
We offer a twice daily shuttle to and from Bocas Town, plus we are only a $5 boat ride away, just hop on a water taxi and tell the driver 'Bambuda Lodge on Solarte' and you will be here in 5 minutes.

Around the house you will find mango, lemon, pineapple, bananas, bread fruit and several other tropical fruits growing.Directly off the dock we have a coral reef teeming with marine life. Borrow our snorkelling gear for free or rent our canoes and kayaks and go exploring or fishing!
