Reviews of Aloha Hostel
This Hostel is in a great location about 10-15 mins walking on foot to the Eiffel tower and you are 5 mins away from metro which is super convenient. This place has a decent breakfast and the rooms are good size. A tip I suggest is making sure to bring flip flops when you shower it is a must!
The staff was friendly and it was a very comfortable environment.
Everyone was helpful and nice. Plus the place was really clean and near the metro. Couldnt be happier!
Its very well located hostel, nearby to Eiffel Tower, markets and metro. Wi fi is for free, but the shower is the worst, and the beds too. But they have simple and good breakfast.
I couldn't have hot water the first day because nobody explain how to use the shower (you have to push the bottom and wait a looong time for hot water and is not so hot).It has good location, but their services are minimus for the price. There's no bath inside the room. One shower for floor. It was goog the wifi conection, but only in the hall.
We arrived before our check in and they had a free luggage room, which was nice. However, we were pretty stressed from traveling and getting to the hostel and the receptionist only made it worst. We were trying to figure out how much each of us owed and she would interrupt and try to calculate thing for us when we had our own system. We were over charged in the end. Once we can back during check in a different receptionist was there and he gave us our room. Once we got to the room there was already people in it. We paid for an extra bed so we could have a private room so we were disappointed when they relocated us to the top floor (no elevator) in a 5 bed room and wouldn't reimburse us for our extra bed we paid. It was their mistake for over booking and they didn't even offer us any sort of accommodation. The staff was unfriendly and made it awkward when we had to go to the lobby to use the Internet because Internet is not in the room. You had to put a deposite down for the room key and sheets. The mattresses were terrifying to sleep on and the sheets usually had cuts in them. Our room had a single light and lit a small corner of our room, making it hard to see and get ready for bed. There was one mirror for the entire third floor in a tiny bathroom... And with five girls that's a nightmare when you have check out at 11. Honestly, I won't stay here again, nor will I recommend my family and friends to either.
The receptionist was quite unfriendly, but the cleaner was nice. Really badly soundproof and loud. Breakfast is unfortunately just until 9pm. But a good price-quality-ratio, and the hostel is central and easy to reach by metro.
Good position, near the gare Montparnasse, near the metro station and just 30 minutes on foot to the Tour Eiffel. Quiet road. Nice common room with sofas, bier and computer; small but suggestive kitchen. Nice colours in the rooms and bathrooms. No elevator, old and narrow stairs (part of the old parisian atmosphere). Funny to spend the night chatting with the boy at the reception! There are always people around to chat with :)
Staff wasn't very friendly or willing to help, specially the Hispanic girl (long dark hair)who was very rude to me when I asked info about how to get somewhere.bathroms and showers need renovation. Walls are too thin you hear everything.Breakfast was good, atmosphere is good and location is excellent!
