Location and surroundings
The A&O München Hackerbrücke is just one intra-city train station from the Central Station and is easy to reach by train. Due to its central location the Altstadt can be easily reached by going for a small walk from the A&O and it is thus also the ideal starting point for excursions into the city.

A modern, nice place with typical hostel infrastructure. Rooftop bar is a definite plus. Breakfast is okay, but breakfast staff is not friendly, and you need to hurry should you arrive there within the last hour of breakfast time. Arrival area is too small and pretty crammed. Prize/value is excellent. Noisy rooms due to street traffic.
Cheap. Close to train station. Good Indian food close by. English-speaking staff. Large, multi-level hostel.
Great place to stay. The rooms are nice and I think most come with a balcony (mine did). Staff is really friendly and great help. The only negatives are sheets and breakfast not included, but the price was good considering. Its about 15 minute walk from main station, but in opposite direction as city center. Tramline easily connects there though.
this hostel had nice, clean, spacious rooms. we had a private bathroom that was also modern and clean. the buffet breakfast was excellent. the staff were friendly and helpful and the position of the hostel is ok. i would recommend this hostel and happily stay there again
I found it really nice at this hostel. I was surprised about the nice rooms, but I was shocked when I found out that me and my friend had to share my room with two foreign guys (I am a girl). This is not OK, and planed badly by the staff.
