Jeju island is the most visited sight in South Korea, the island is located on the South where the weather is mild even during the winter, the city of Jeju is a famous resort with many public casino's.

Each year Jeju welcomes over 4 million visitors from Japan and China. Many tourists arrive at the island by boat or plane and stay in hotels or guest houses. They come to visit many tourist attractions in JeJu such as; the Scenic beaches, waterfalls, cliffs and caves, Dragon's Head Rock along the coast, the Samseonghyeol holes in the downtown area, Hallasan National Park, and world’s largest botanical garden Bunjae Artpia. . When going to the JeJu island an absolute must to see; is the Volcano Mt.Hallasan. Hallasan is the highest mountain in South Korea (1950meters above sea level). Around the mountain is a huge national park with lots of flora and fauna of both temperate and tropical varieties. The mountain has approximately 368 peaks called 'oreum', which provide a panoramic view. Small and big oreums are scattered around the whole island, which have been regarded as unique natural heritages along with lava tubes.Mt.Hallasan is famous for its vertical ecosystem of plants. Over 1,800 kinds of plants and 4,000 species of animals exist here.

Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, is a top tourist attraction on the Jeju island. Many people visit this peak on New Year's day to pray for a promising New Year. It has been regarded as one of the top ten beautiful sight in JeJu. It is mostly famous for the beautiful view. Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak was formed by the volcanic eruption under the shallow water at the mid Pleistocene Epoch. The original shape of the crater is well preserved. With the 99 sharp rocks surrounding the crater, it looks like a gigantic crown. The ridge provides an ideal spot for walks and for horse riding. The sunrise from the crater is magnificent, and during the spring the peak becomes colored by all plants which creates an magnificent view.

Jeju island has many mysterious treasures one of these, is the lava tube system of Geomun Oreum. You can find these lava tubes/caves on the east of the JeJu island. Numerous lava tubes were created by the volcanic eruption from Geomun Oreum. Such as the Manjang cave, Bengdi cave, Gimnyeong cave, Yongcheon cave and the Dangcheomul cave. And of course the magnificent limestone caves of Yongcheon cave and Dangcheomul cave, these are considered the most valuable caves in the world. The most particular cave is the Yongcheondonggul Cave, where you can find a range of carbonate formations such as straw soda, stalactite, columns, flowstones, cave corals and aragonite crystals. The Geomunoreum Lava Tube System is part of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site.
