Nov 19, 2009 - Only stayed here for 1 night but the staff were helpful and it was only a short walk into the centre.
Oct 22, 2009 - the place itself is really o.k and comfortable, but people do make mistakes sometimes and it's not o.k to their money for a stupid mistake like wanting to cancel one night and not getting a refund!
Jul 12, 2009 - It's a nice and comfy place to stay close to the center! Although there's a kitchen, you can't actually cook there(it was a surprise for us)!
Feb 20, 2009 - Delicately decorated room, friendly staff, nice position and inexpensive price. This is a hostel to die for!

Oct 01, 2008 - really homey and friendly, you share a bathroom with a lot of people which was annoying. very clean, great location, everything you need or want to see is within walking distance
Sep 08, 2008 - I have stayed in a new part of the hostel which is just great!It is situated close to the center of the city which is nice but it is a little bit loud.Staff is also great,especially Filipe!If I went to Florence sometime again,I would definately stay in Emerald Fields! Andrea(Serbia)

Everyone friendly and accommodating.
They will make calls for you and give good information. Internet being available is a big plus.
Only complaint is it was hot and windows+doors were left open and Mosquitos bit me all over. Marco the owner says he will get sprays. Maybe Mosquito nets would be a good idea. Saying that no one else complained? Maybe I tasted better??
Still a good place.
