Nov 28, 2009 - The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hostel was about a ten minute walk along the beach from the old city. There was a shared space in reception with free tea and coffee and internet, but you couldn't access the wifi from the rooms. The room was cramped and relatively clean, but the sinks didn't work properly and were always dirty. There was a kitchnette in the room, but it was cramped and without a working sink it was difficult to do dishes. I would consider staying there again if they made some repairs.
Oct 31, 2009 - It was nice that it was so close to the beach and also that had free wi fi internet..Ahhh also the kichenette vwery usefull....the bathroom was clean but the shower was damage so that wasn't good...
Sep 29, 2009 - It is near the seaside so it has great fun. The room is spacious and nicely-decorated. It feels really warm to live. The service is also good. We may recommend it to our friends.

Aug 12, 2009 - The rooms are very very dark and almost depressing. There was no air-conditioning (only a fan) even all the websites had promised there would be one. So in August it was very hot in the room and we had to keep the window open during the nights, wich meant we had some trouble sleeping due to the noise from the street. But after all it's an ok place.
Mar 18, 2009 - Meyerbeer Hostel charged my 10% deposit twice.
My emails and complaints were not answered, which I find incorrect.
Feb 10, 2009 - Nice place to stay, bit hard going up the stairs. Close to the beach & pretty handy for the train station. Good place to base & travel to Cannes & Monaco. Room was a bit cramped when full but had its own bathroom & kitchenette which was handy. Free internet & WiFi was great.
Jan 06, 2009 - someone had a party until 2 midnight. that was so noisy. I could not sleep until then

The stuff was friendly too.

I've been in other hostels, and many of them need a person so gentle and attentive as the receptionist of this hostel. Helpful, friendly and attentive.
The rest is ok.
I have had a wonderful time.
