Sep 28, 2009 - Very nice place to stay, but quite far from the city center comparing to other cities I have stayed in. Apart from that it is great, and idea with curtains on each bed is just brilliant. Rooms are very big, never stayed in hostel with that huge rooms. I recommend it to every one.
Sep 22, 2009 - Pros:Friendly staff,quiet and coed bedrooms,free wifi.
Cons:Expensive bar,elevator didn't always work,not enough power outlets.
Overall:Wouldn't mind staying there again.
Sep 07, 2009 - It was all very good! The only things I could complain for are the breakfast, too small, and the windows, irritatingly blocked, they couldn't be opened more than a little bit. But these are not big things, it was definitely a good hostel, I didn't expect.
Aug 23, 2009 - I am 60 and was a bit apprehensive about the website's emphasis on the youth-orientation of this hostel. But I found it to be excellent - clean, quiet in the room, and both staff and patrons created a very pleasant atmosphere. The location looks out-of-the-way on a map, but the Metro is very convenient which means you are mere minutes from everything. The included breakfast is great - juice, tea/coffee, bread, butter, jam, cereal - would cost a lot elsewhere.
Would definitely stay here again.
Aug 17, 2009 - A clean, modern hostel that has everything for the young traveler. Rooms are well-sized, events are social, staff are helpful and there are tons of guides and tips for all the major touristy things.
P.S:Beware the cages - they squeak a lot; if you're a heavy sleeper, don't worry about it.
P.P.S:Always try at least one pub crawl.

It's real clean, rooms are big and beds confortable, good staff, nice breakfast,good position near The Seine, you have to walk 10 minutes from Jaures metro station to the hostel but when I went (July) near by there was "Paris à la plage" with a lot of pubs and people there, so it was saveful, in winter I don't know, maybe you have to be more carefull if you are alone, but it's like in every place you go.
Go there it's nice!

Jul 15, 2009 - This place is extremely large so its not as charming as most of the hostels i've stayed at... ALSO!! there is NO KITCHEN!! which isn't the best news because Paris is ridiculously pricey. I stayed in a 8 dorm room and although it was really big and clean and had these curtains around your bed, it was a bit tooo big... meaning because there are so many people staying there, they aren't very considerate of others. In my friends 10 dorm room, some girl got lucky and he had to listen to it.. umm yeah and we woke up with mosquito bites in the morning.. so yeah it was pretty average. the breakfast in the morning is good.
Jul 11, 2009 - Loved it, but the under the bed lockers are very noisy! This is my only (very small) complaint though. Curtains on the beds is a great idea, and I liked the small details (soap dispensers in the showers is a great idea!).
