Feb 23, 2009 - I absolutely LOVED staying in the Meininger Hostel in the Schönhäuser Allee. The position was perfect, since various hot spots in Prenzlauer Berg were in walking distance. Meininger Hostel was very clean, modern trendy and the price is unbeatable. I would (and do) absolutely recommend staying there.
Nov 20, 2008 - nice, modern hostel, very good position: kastanien str is nearby. imo the coolest place for a drink in town. Also there's an U-Bahn stop outside. Quite clean, free wifi and good breakfast. The common room is nice but not so cozy. Rooms are small, tft tv's and very nice bathrooms

The rooms are great: Super bathroom, nice beds/hard matresses, and our room had a beautiful overall view at the TV-Turm.
Located 1 min. away from the metro.
All in all a good experience.

Aug 30, 2008 - Great, great hostel. Rooms are great. Located a block away from the metro. Has all the facilities. at the lobby can be a little loud at night, due to all the backpackers. Next time I'd definitely stay there!
