Nov 16, 2009 - Very interesting experience! The owner is very helpfull and gave us nice tips, great breakfast, the room was quite small, but it's a boat!! very fair price.

Oct 01, 2009 - Portholes for windows, bunks for beds, this is no average place. The Friesland is in a handy location, and has lovely views you can enjoy over the generous breakfast. Great value, helpful staff, clean and tidy. The only thing missing was English tea. There is fridge space available for residents too. All this and it's moored right near a pirate ship. Go on, book it!

Aug 28, 2009 - The staff is great,very friedly and communicative. The breakfast is inckuded in the price,very good breakfast for such a low price. The only difficulty is the size of the room.It is really very small. The overall impression is -cool place!
Jul 13, 2009 - It was great. We really appreciated the nice and friendly behaviour of the boat's owner, it was a pleasure to stay at his boat with the jummy breakfast, the cleaniness and his jolly sayings.
Only thing (but normal on boats) that the cabins are quiet small
Jul 05, 2009 - The guy whos runs the boat was incredibly nice, and very accommodating for us as we were traveling with bikes.
Rooms arn't massive, but perfect if you only intend to use them to sleep.
Would recommend anyone who is looking for a cheap, clean, well positioned, friendly hostel.

May 15, 2009 - It was really nice! in the heart of Amsterdam, true romance :D We enjoyed coming back to this boat after a long day of sightseeing :D Really, if you never tryed any botel before, this is a great opportunity because of a good position and fun personel :)
