Aug 11, 2009 - Very good location, down the alfama hill. Very clean, great breakfast, nice staff. We had a private double room with bathroom for a very reasonnable price. The street is quite noisy though, so you might want to bring earplugs.
Jul 08, 2009 - This hostel is very nice and clean. The people who work there are great espically Rosa the breakfast lady! Not close to beach if thats what ur into but the old city is beautiful and transat is easy to use. Not good for a party...families staying at this hostel...weird :/

Jul 02, 2009 - Guesthouse Beira Mar was excellent. The staff there are all extremely helpful and friendly, and I got on well with them. I enjoyed staying there and I have told them I might be coming back. The only problem is it was a little bit away from the train and metro.
