Dec 15, 2008 - The owner of the hostel tries to help the tourists as much as he can. It was a good experience to stay there, the rooms are rather spacious and the heating and everything works without problems (if we exclude the shower , heating time about 3 minutes ).
Dec 02, 2008 - This is a fantastic hostel with a great manager. We were pleasantly greeted and looked after during our stay at AAE. The hostel is very close to shops and public transport making it easy to travel around Amsterdam. Highly recommended!!!

Aug 03, 2008 - Dan the man from Iran, he was a total dream. Ali was a superstar, and Renee flicker flicker flashlight come pick us up.
All in all it was an amazing experience amplified by the staffs knowledge of the city and surrounding towns. The friendly confines offered us an amazing refuge when the excitement of the town became to much to handle. Dan also was kind enough to recycle all of our water bottles and other recyclable goods when we were reluctant to throw them away. Thank you for the wonderful place to stay while we were visiting Amsterdam.
