Sep 02, 2008 - Clean and quite central, but not really welcoming. Great "personality" but not a nice one. You could find coke and red bull, even prosecco at night, but not a cup of tea or coffe. Very efficient staff, but only in appearence, they did not care to help you to get what you needed and were unwelcoming if you asked for attention. I will not came back there when in Wien.

Aug 27, 2008 - Red Carpet Hostel is the best place I have booked for vacation. Really is a very nice place, and the staff was so helpful to us and always they give us all information we ask about the city and in a very kind way. One thing: towels are not included in the booking but if you do not have towels for the stay you can rent it in the hostel. The hostel is not near to the downtown, but it is so near to one of the train station, and a subway station is also near to the hostel (less than 5 minutes walking). Also you have a supermarket (BILA) near the hostel, it is a little hidden but if you ask to anyone on the streets around the hostel, you can sure find it. In your room you have a little refrigerator, so you can buy some food for the days you are going to stay at Viena and keep in good conditions. If I come back to Viena, surely I am going to book Red Carpet Hostel again!!
Aug 23, 2008 - In our opinion private room seems a bit much expensive for the services that it gives. In our room there was no tv, soap or towels (to have a small towel we payed 2€).
The reception, open 24h a day, seems very efficient!
