Apr 08, 2008 - i have currently been travelling for over 6 mos and have never felt the need to write a negative review until now. Stay away from the Albion. The service is non existent with the rudest staff imaginable...any simple question turns into a ridiculous argument. My phone and internet access didnt work, along with the elevator that barely fits one person, room was only cleaned once. Hotel was filthy with packs worth of smoked cigarettes in the stairwells after one evening--also couldnt sleep that night due to all the noise up and down the stairwells and couldnt complain as phone didnt work! I've stayed in budget places my whole trip and always there was something redeeming...staff that tried hard, etc., but here there is none.
