Feb 26, 2009 - Es ist ja wirklich das Letzte, wenn man bei der Ankunft an der beschriebenen Adresse ein geschlossenes Haus vorfindet, ohne jeden Hinweis auf den neuen Standort des Hostels!Bei Anruf gibt es nur einen Verweis auf die Bürozeiten,am nächsten Tag die Auskunft,jetzt sei jemand anwesend-wobei auch nun noch keine andere Adresse genannt wurde!Erst durch einen neuerlichen Anruf erfuhren wir von dem Umzug!Alles in allem sehr ärgerlich-wir werden dieses Haus auf keinen Fall weiterempfehlen!

Sep 07, 2008 - Die Nachbarschaft erscheint einem anfaenglich ein bisschen suspekt, aber die Leute waren mehrheitlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer bieten ausreichend aber nicht uebermaessigen Platz, verfuegen aber ueber einen herd und einen grossen kuehlschrank. Des Personal schien mir wenig oder gar nicht ausgebildet. Einmal taeglich wurden die Zimmer gereinigt, jedoch gab es nur zu anfangs frische Bettwaesche und Duschtuecher. Alles in allem sicher nicht schlecht, aber dennoch stark verbesserungsfaehig. 5/10
Aug 25, 2008 - In general I liked the hostel. Its not too expensive its fairly clean and the staff was mostly friendly. I disliked the fact that reception closed after 9, which can make things difficult and the location was not the best but its fine.

Jun 08, 2008 - We stayed at a private room at 147th street and it was wonderful!! Big rooms, nice bath and kitchen and a nice little garden in the backyard!! The Stuff was super!!!! Very close to subway!! Recommend it very much!!
May 26, 2008 - It's basically an apartment that has been converted into a hotel. It's about a hundred blocks away from anywhere you'd want to be. Only the sheets get washed, The bathroom smells, and sometimes the cleaning man sleeps in your room. But, overall, overall was NOT unenjoyable. Most hostals have their quirks and their undesirable aspects. This one's pretty good.
