Sep 28, 2009 - The cleaners worked very hard to keep the place spotless - which it was to be honest. I stayed there for two weeks whilst searching for a flat and had very few problems - except the odd snorer! It would have been nice to have perhaps been rewarded for my length of stay since I gave them so much money but it was not to be. Great area for going out and getting to know the city.

Aug 17, 2009 - I can't say enough about this particular hostel. The fact that they have someone whose specific job is to make sure you know where to go and inform you of things to do at night was AWESOME!! I LOVED that they offered Flamenco and pub crawls on certain nights of the week, because it ensured that we would see what we needed to of the nightlife on a budget!!! Great job Pablo!!!!
Aug 12, 2009 - Great place!!!! just wished the kitchen was open later than 11 pm.. one more hour, and that they had somebody clean the bathrooms in the afternoon too

Jun 27, 2009 - Generally I was very positively surprised, the hostel looks really much better in real than in the photos. It is very clean, and the staff are extremely nice, friendly and always helpful. If you're looking for a place with personality - that is certainly one, has a great atmosphere and pretty imaginative design. The rooms are nice and cosy and the corridors,each flor painted different colour, and wooden benches, all that makes you want to stay. Now, on the problems side: the watch-keys seem to be practical and advanced but unfortunately are difficult to use, you need to make several tries to enter the room and I have seen some people just because of that had given all hope and just knocked on the door, waiting for someone inside to open. Also the internet is practically not in use, if you check your email regularly, you'd rather forget it here. One more thing - the kitchen and the common room could have looked more friendly, now in comparison with the other hostal facilities they look just so pale and dull...
Summing it up, my impressions are very, very positive; if you you're looking an interesting place in a good location and internet doesn't really matter for you La Posada de las Huertas should be perfect!
