Oct 20, 2009 - I am very fustrated. My flight was delay for an hour and I reached HK around 11.30 pm. Knowing I had slide from the initial check-in time, I called the hostel to inform that I will arrive about past midnight but the other party told me they will be off duty by midnight and will not wait for me. I was shocked as this is the 1st time I was not allow to check-in past midnight in all the hotels I have stayed. I was too tired to reason with the other party and end up going to another hostel.

Oct 05, 2009 - They have cheated me by not providing the room in their hostel, rather put me to an agent and he by telling a lie put me in another lodge. Fortunately the other laodge owners were good.
Apr 21, 2009 - Clean place with very small rooms in a very busy building with lots of touts, but that comes with living in this central neighbourhood. Wifi did not work, fan worked, hot water worked, clean room with new sheets every day, friendly but a bit disorganized staff. Noisy in the evenings when the staff had their friends over to hang out and watch tv. Located on top floor.
Apr 17, 2009 - Great staff, very friendly and helpful. The room was very small but what do you expect for a low cost hostel on the main road of Kowloon. There is no public area to hang out at the hostel, it's just a room but it is a good room and a good price.
Mar 18, 2009 - I've had a good experience staying with Garden Hostel. Very kind and accommodating staff. They are also helpful as well. They need to improve though on their email responses. I did ask some questions after my reservation to luckyhousejoe but didn't get a reply. I was not able to use their WIFI too even if they had given me an access (don't know what happened but it wasn't that important to me though). Overall, I would recommend this place to my friends who are planning on going to Hong Kong. Good work guys! Keep it up!
Jan 07, 2009 - The room that i was provided with was different from those pictures shown on the website. I was also assigned to stay in chalton hostel on level 15 rather than on level 16 in Garden Hostel. Those pictures provided seem to be the Garden Hostel located elsewhere. But overall, with the price I paid, it is acceptable.
Dec 16, 2008 - Since I was with my kids, my proposals are to lower the size of bed since it was dangerous for a people like us with a little one. And also, even a centralize microwave oven for the use of all tenants in the hostels.
Nov 23, 2008 - Hostel room is nice & clean. The only problem is the Chung King Mansion is too many indian & african and seem to be messy & smelly.
Aug 31, 2008 - small and budget place in such strategic location, excellent for shopping and dining. the building environment is somehow quite bz and crowded with lots foreigners.
