Oct 25, 2009 - Only stayed for one night but the location was excellent and the rooms were a good price. The staff I met were helpful and there's no curfew.

Sep 24, 2009 - Great place, 15min from beach, 5min from the markets. And the best is on La Rambla street. Nice and clean, friendly staff. Cheap price, the best just to spend night after tiring day.

Aug 16, 2009 - Terrible!!! No air conditioning, it was 35 in the room!!! Great position, good staff.
Aug 13, 2009 - This hostel was perfect for us since its right at the end of La Rambla so its very close to the beach (10-15min walk by the harbour) and nightlife! The rooms where ok, not very clean floors but still ok. We had a balcony facing La Rambla which was nice but very noicy at night. Staff was nice and reception open all night with videocamera over the entrance, didnt let any strangers in. Breakfast was good in reference to the cheap price of the hostel: toast, marmelade, juice, coffee, tea, cereals and cocoa.
Overall it was a very good hostel for the cheap price! Couldnt find a cheaper at this locatation. The only very bad thing was that one of the guys that worked there smoked weed so it stunk in the corridor and in our room sometimes..

Pros:
Cheap.
Internet is included. There are 2 PCs at the front desk and Wi-Fi is also available.
Breakfast is included, and it is okay. There´s tea, coffee, corn flakes and coco pops, orange juice, some sweets, etc. Average, but much better than some other places I have stayed at.
Cons:
It is down at the ocean end of La Rambla, so it is very noisy 24 hours a day. There is no air-con or even fans.
You would probably do better to stay closer to the other end of La Rambla -- so in the Gothic Barrio, or near Plaza Catalunya. Or maybe closer to the beach area.
