Jun 25, 2009 - This is a very nice place for passing travellers. Rooms are fairly big, cosy and tidy. Breakfast is available at a fair rate and the staff was always present when needed. Well worth the price!
Dec 29, 2008 - This hotel has a great theme...the rock n roll music pictures are interesting. However we give few points for personality because the hotel was too drab to be vibrant. It also smelled too badly of cigarettes and outside the entrance to reception are some stairs containing an unbearable smell, a mixture of old spices and something sour. The hotel may have been clean but felt dirty because of the smell, the drab blinds and carpet. The staff were very unfriendly, a smile may have helped to make up for the staleness of everything. They responded rudely and defensively when they were asked questions. I'm not usually one to complain and have never reviewed a hotel online but I felt that this hotel gave the least value for money I have ever encountered.

however, the road in front of the hotel is made of stone and hard for suitcase.
do not have own toilette or shower.

May 03, 2008 - The hotel as a whole is nothing special, but it's hard to find something cheaper in Zürich. Each room is named after a famous early rock artist... and "decorated" in that style. I slept in the Kate Bush room, which included a framed record and a creepy painting of her with bat wings. Hum.
However, if you don't mind sharing a bathroom, creepy musicians on your wall, and living in small rooms then it's a great place to just sleep.
There is a restaurant/nightclub connected to it that looks like potential fun, but I didn't have time to find out. It a burger/fried food joint of sorts.
The staff was great... a few of them were impersonal, but most of them were funny, nice and helpful. It was a very good location and it's easy to explore Zürich quickly.
Dec 12, 2007 - Perfect downtown location, friendly, relaxed staff and surprisingly quiet in the rooms!
Looking forward to staying there again!

Jul 28, 2007 - The shower leaves a lot to be desired, the shower holder was broken so you had to hold the shower head to bath. And there was no place to hang your towel or any of your clothes while taking a shower.
