Oct 18, 2009 - A typical Las Vegas place: you first enter thru a casino to find the reception right in the midddle of the gambling machines! But let not this fact or the strange guys roaming around scare you: the rooms are in the back, motel type on 2 levels, around a nice little patio garden, away from noise and game atmosphere, very clean and comfortable, with everything you need for a restful night. Easy to find when driving and only a short walk to dowtown and the Strip, very near the Excalibur hotel or the MGM complex (true, lots of red lights and crossings to get there but only about 15 minutes). No kitchen but you can eat well, and cheap, served by extremely friendly staff at the Denny's restaurant in the same building as the hostel. The only problem we had was that a 3-bedded room was confirmed but they do not have any room with 3 beds!! The lady at the reception gave us a room with 2 queen beds (which was OK with us) for a cheaper price because of the booking error. Very nice of her and in the end, this hostel was the cheapest we had all through our 2-week road trip, for a quality that was nothing less than many other places we had stayed in for a much higher price. Once you get over the 1st impression, a great place to stay!
Aug 28, 2009 - Nice and cheap hotel. There is a pool and a jakuzzi in the yard. The rooms are clean, the room service gives new towels everyday. 15minutes walk from the strip. If you are smart, then the neighborhood is fine to. :) 10/9
Jul 27, 2009 - I can recommend this hotel as very very good. This is nice place in Las Vegas for this price. Very nice.
