Oct 28, 2009 - The room was very nice and clean (despite the bad view - I saw the wall of another building and it was quite ugly :-) ). There were only 2 inconveniences, the shower downstars (you have to pay 2 euros for it and you have 7 minutes of water only) and the lack of electric kettle in the room (would be nice to make oneself a tea maybe..).Other than that, the location was fabulous, the staff was ok too (although it's good to speak a litlle French because it's hard to communicate in English, although it's still doable). I would reccommend this place!
Oct 25, 2009 - The female reception staff are very friendly, however the male receptionist is rather unfriendly, it seems as though guests are a nuisance to him...otherwise enjoyed my stay. One other problem is that for single rooms the only shower is on the ground floor, somewhat inconvenient.
Aug 18, 2009 - small room:ok. 4th floor by a tiny stair:mmh. Room close to the common bathroom: please no! No breakfast.
Price I payed: 36euro. Reasonable price should have been : 25/30 euro.
Aug 17, 2009 - Hostel is located ideally - great for exploring Monmartre but on the quiet street at the same time but don't have any expectations beyond that. It might have been that we booked the cheapest room possible (£50 for a room for two people) but it was tiny, facing a brick wall, so might not be great if you are claustrophobic. also you can hear literally everything that's going on in the toilet on the floor (you get only a washbasin in the room). However we had a good laugh about it and I would actually probably come back if I wanted to stay in that area and have somewhere to spend a night. As I said we booked the cheapest room and it looked lie more expensive rooms were much better.

Jul 31, 2009 - It doesn't have elevator and the stairs are very unconfortable to carry the luggage. There is just one shower in the ground floor to all the guests and to take a shower is necesary to pay two euros extra. The rooms don't have air conditioner and is just one toilette per floor. It is the worst place where I have stayed.
Jul 14, 2009 - I booked 2 consecutives days. when I got to the Hostel, they told me that from night to night that I will had to change from one room to another. (this means: wake up early and leave the room, leave your stuff in reception, and move to another room later o in the day). If I pay for 2 days, I do not want to leave my stuff in reception, where everybody can take it, and also, I want to sleep all i want to.
Jul 02, 2009 - The hotel is in a very nice position! It is clean but I think the shower should be free!!! (2 euro for 6 minutes of shower!!!!!!!)
Jul 01, 2009 - The HOTEL BONSEJOUR MONTMARTRE is dishonest. They do not offer clear information on the website. After I arrived, I had to pay extra money for the shower that is 2 euro per seven minutes which was not showed on the website.
Before my friend and I went to Paris, I booked a double room with shared toilet and shower because I thought it was cheap, 50 euro per night. When I wanted to take a shower in the evening, I was informed that I have to pay extra money for the shower that is 2 euro per seven minutes. That means, the room actually cost at least 54 euro per night—if my friend and I both need a shower.
I checked my booking email replied by the hotel system. It mentions nothing about the shower fee. Then I showed it to the staff, she said it is the rule of this hotel. I had no choice but pay for the shower. I think it is unreasonable and unacceptable. I have very bad feeling of being cheated. For me I will never choose a dishonest hotel like HOTEL BONSEJOUR MONTMARTRE anymore.
