Nov 25, 2009 - Loved this place, 5-10 minute walk from the train station, really friendly and helpful staff (the woman gave us a detailed description of the best places to visit in Venice and where to find them; she even recommended a great little restaurant). Very relaxing atmosphere, shampoo and bars of soap included. Lovely breakfast included.

Nov 16, 2009 - Hotel Minerva & Nettuno is very close to the train station, but very far from San Marco and the sights, but is very easy to get around walking in Venezia, so it was ok. The staff is ok, they don't have breakfast if the reservation is done by hostelclub site. The room is clean and the bathroom too. They don't have internet included, the wirreles conection is only in the reception and costs 5 euros for 3 hours. Patricia, from Brazil, nov 2009
Nov 10, 2009 - Very close to train station and located at main drag makes the place a bit noisy until late in the evening (trolleys and tourists). Many nice places to eat and drink around.
Nov 09, 2009 - Horrible staff with insufficient english skills. unfriendly + incomeptent(for example, they insisted we did not have a reservation allthough we did...and other things). wi-fi for 5€/3hrs - on the internet it said it was for free. only one tiny shower for the whole hotel and this does not even have hot water. the location is good though, close to the train station and located on a main street. and, for venice, it's quite cheap. but in my oppinion rather pay a couple euros more and get at least basic service!
Oct 27, 2009 - Clean, but walls need washing/painting (squished mosquitoes! nice!) Staff varied from lovely to indifferent. Skip breakfast, it's only a packet of biscotti. Oct 07, 2009 - The hostel is clean, and the staff is so friendly (the best attitude one we met, u know in "italy"). Its really easy to arrive, just walk around 5-min from the main train-station. Besides, the shower is located on the top floor, and there is bit noisy from some bars at the street at night. But still a good affordable hostel.

Sep 14, 2009 - Upon arrival we were given an upgrade due to over booking and they put us in a PRIVATE VILLA! It was the best way to experience Venezia! We had a great weekend in a quiet Italian neighborhood with a villa and courtyard right on a canal. Thanks!
