Nov 12, 2009 - Sorry I don't understand what you mean by "personality"; just one thing, the room's door are very noisly, what disturb everybody at night and in the morning each time it is opened. Staff is very helpfull, and place is clean.

Oct 29, 2009 - We've been waiting 4 hours for check-in.When at least we could check in-the guy at the reception didn't want to help us because he was finishing his work and told us to wait for the next guy...who made us to buy a membership card,we don't know why...
But Piero Rotta is a quite good youth hostel for people who don't want to spend much money.
Oct 21, 2009 - The staff were friendly and informative. However, there are several improvements that need to be made. Firstly, The common room needs some sofas instead of steel seats. This would make it more comfortable and social. The doors to the dorms squeak loudly so that needs to be addressed. And finally, the horse flies need to be exterminated! One night I spent itching myself from their bites, and the next I spent battering the things away so I didn't itch.
Oct 11, 2009 - cleanlines: the toilette and bathroom are very bad taken care-no papaer and limited numbe for men side. position is bad for reaching city center and no proper parking. we park at public park !! again the toilette is unacceptable. a goodthing we can rememeber this YH is the breakfast offer.
Sep 29, 2009 - I was in this hostel twice. It's a little bit far from the center, but the metro will bring you at Duomo station directly!
If it was a little bit cheaper, it would be a perfect place to stay in Milan.
Sep 28, 2009 - Average hostel, location is not very interesting, but close to metro and night buses. Bathroom were full of mess, but it was caused by female visitors, who ignored waste baskets. Low cost, but nice breakfast. Big lockers for any visitor in corridor.
