Mar 28, 2008 - Excellent location (near train station and with plenty of bus connections), friendly atmosphere, charming old building beautifully decorated with typical Portuguese tiles.
Aug 13, 2007 - A little bit noisy, both on Rossio square and the closeby street. Clean enough, except small details (weekly changed bathroom towels). Ricardo (receptionist on late afternoon) is a very good guy! QUITE GOOD AT ALL. :)
Mar 11, 2007 - Very good position!Just located in one of the two main squares. It's close to the metro station and many bus stops. A bit old but nice room and stairs. Helpful staff and they CAN speak English :)
Oh, BTW, hope the "lid" has been fixed completely ;)
Jan 08, 2007 - Located near many cheap restaurant, easy to reach metropolitan stops. One defect: a little noisy, but it's possible to sleep during the night.
Nov 13, 2006 - The position of the hostal is excelente in the very heart of the city center with an excelent view of the town square overlooking the "San Jorge" castle. Your are from walking distance to numerous shops, cafes, restaurants. The room are small but confortable, it would be great if the hostal offered breakfast with their tarrifs. Another small problem is that our bathroom had an odd smell.
Jun 15, 2006 - Very central place (direct in Rossio!). Our room was clean but small and loud since the windows on the main square. On the other side nice view of the castle!. Only some of the staff could speak English, but they were all friendly!
