Jul 29, 2009 - The a/c did not work and the staff were not helpful even though we had children and told us we had to manage. the beds were awfull -just wooden boxes with spoilt matteresses. the room was not ready when we arrived we had to wait approx. 2 hours for the room. Even though the place looks neat and the commom sitting place looks clean it has no warmth. the staff except for the lady in the reception were very cold and were very unapproachable. the owner or partner of the place hangs around and is not welcoming - grumpy and cold. we thought we will spend a week at this place but changed our mindes because of the unwelcoming behaviour of the people at this place. as a family I would not like to go back there.
Nov 28, 2008 - Basic, clean room with private bathroom, TV, cable and fridge. Hotel is well situated right next to the shops, bars and restaurants of Downtown (my favourite part of town) and withing easy walking distance (15 mins) of Zamalek.
Staff are awesome! Very friendly and nothing was a problem!
