Nov 18, 2009 - El hotel está muy bien situado al lado de la plaza San Marcos, ahora si quieres ir por ejemplo al Guetto, está lejísimos. Es un hotel que solo sirve para dormir. El desayuno deja mucho que desear.Por lo demás está muy bien.
Oct 05, 2009 - My mum had a frosty encounter with one of the staff at breakfast which didn't go down well. I think the hotel is very good for young people rather than the mature generation and it is well situated in Venice.

Las instalaciones lógicamente no son modernas ni del otro mundo, pero lugar muy digno y recomendable sobretodo por el estupendo trato en recepción: amabilidad, información concreta y detallada acerca de la ciudad, transportes, etc., etc. Y a dos minutos de la plaza San Marcos. Si vuelvo a Venecia, repetiré casi seguro.
Sep 12, 2009 - Not the cutest place in the world, nor the quietest, but it was very safe, and in a great location. We had a great time there and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast lady had quite the temper, but it was funny, though I am sure she was offensive to some.

the room was ok. the bathroom was a bit moist and smelly, like everywhere in venice. the breakfast was very poor.
the staff was nice, but a bit slow at setting the breakfasttable. alltoghether the astoria has a great price performance ratio for a hotel in venice.
Aug 30, 2009 - i booked a room in a shared room (2 bed) but ended up having the room for myself which was nice. the staff was helpful (the macedonian guy, if i recall it correctly), he helped me with my booking in padua. the room was good enough, considering the price that i paid (37e). location was perfect. i did not have breakfast since i had to go early, so no comment on that. i will stay in this hotel again.
