Nov 29, 2009 - Overall we were rather dissapointed with our stay. The position of the hostel is excellent and close to all ammenities in the centre of glasgow. However when we arrived at the hostel there had been a problem with the pipes, we had no cold water for the whole of the evening. Also the flush on our toilet had broken which persisted to be a problem for the whole of our nights stay. The fire alarm also went off twice whilst we were staying for just one night and the hostel had to be evacuated both times. However the breakfast was good and we were pleasantly surprised after the problems we had faced whilst staying here.
Nov 29, 2009 - The fire alarm rung 3 times the same day... including one during night.
When my friends applied for the check-in, they discussed more than half an hour for the prices, because the "cashier" didn't know exactly how much they had to pay and how much they had already paid.

Aug 09, 2009 - The hostel appears more as an appartement than as a hostel. I have stayed there a week in a twin room, and I must say I was very pleased with it. Every morning housekeeping comes to clean. The location is really good; next to Central Station and near the entrance of St. Enoch subway. I recommend Euro Hostel Glasgow, you will enjoy your stay there.

Mar 28, 2008 - Huge place, good location, friendly staff, all the amenities you want in a hostel but zero personality.
I had booked a 4-bed dorm but when I turned up I was told there had been a 'computer glitch' and there was only a 14-bed dorm available. Staff were nice about it and there was nothing they could do as they were fully booked, but still a bit annoying.
Mar 13, 2008 - Great location by the clyde river and bang in the city centre around the corner from central rail station. Easy to meet people in the bar, I travel alone, am a 45 yr female and had a great night. Rooms are clean and comfortable.
