Aug 20, 2009 - Over a four month backpacking trip, this was the only hotel in which I had to request to change rooms - and i had to do so twice. The first room had a door onto a balcony that didn't even close, let alone lock, and a damaged powerpoint that not only didn't work but posed a genuine electrocution risk. The second room they attempted to put me in was actually a vacant dormitory with four beds and zero character, and not the private double i'd booked and paid for. When I mentioned that i'd booked a room with a double bed, the staff member told me to push two beds together. The breakfasts included in the room rate here were the worst of my entire trip. Literally this: one mug of the weakest imaginable instant coffee and one thin bread roll cut in half with a little portion of jam. Breakfast? I think not. Also, the moment you arrive they insist on providing their "free service that they provide all guests" which is actually an extended sales pitch of various tour options sold by the hotel. I opted for a driver for a day to see the pyramids and Giza, Dashur and Saqqara. I was genuinely unimpressed when my driver took me, unsolicited, to both papyrus and perfume shops, despite my advising him i was not interested in making any purchases. Can you believe he actually angrily demanded an explanation as to why i wouldn't buy anything?
I cannot recommend this hotel.
Jun 06, 2009 - Sehr gute Lage und guter Service was das Abholen vom Flughafen betrifft. Die Angebote des Hostels würde ich nicht empfehlen weil sie obertourimäßig organisiert sind. Sauber, Zimmer wird täglich gesäubert, preiswert. Laute AC!
Mar 04, 2009 - BUENA UBICACION..CON ELEVADOR..DENTRO DE UNA BUENA ZONA COMERCIAL..CERCA DE TODO..EL UNICO INCONVENIENTE FUE QUE EL AGUA CALIENTE DEL BAÑO SE ACABÓ PRONTO...MI HIJA TERMINÓ CON AGUA FRÍA..
OJALA ARREGLEN ESE DETALLE..POR LO DEMAS BIEN...
Feb 23, 2009 - Me decepcionò.Malas condiciones de higiene en todos los lugares, desde entrada, ascensor, pasillos habitaciones, baños y balcones.Entiendo que es un hostal, no un hotel, pero no justifica la suciedad acumulada.No lo recomiendo.
Dec 12, 2008 - die 6Tage im Hotel wurden durch Moatar (Rezeption) angenehm, ansonsten billige Unterkunft, aufdringliche Verkaufsgespräche von Ägypten-Touren.
Der Manager hilfsbereit,Frau muss sagen was sie will,z.B.sauberer/neuer Duschvorhang.
Oct 28, 2008 - muy bien, todo excelente, me diverti mucho ,aunque ahi regateen todo cuando vgaya han comprar sea en otras tiendas que no sean las del guia por que todo es mas caro...del hosta todo muy bieen.. muy fantastico...gracias por todo

Jan 14, 2008 - This hostel is located at the 12th level of a building in the down-town (one of the main street),very close to the Egyptian Museum (only 10 minutes by walk). The rooms are very clean, and the staff is very kind! You can enjoy your breakfast at the top of the building (13th level)with a beautiful landscape all over the Cairo! The quality versus price ratio is excellent!
