Sep 23, 2009 - COOL EXPERIENCE in Barcelona. Thanks to Pension Mari Luz!
Except for the 3 or 4 floors staircase to the reception and our room, everything here is close to perfect as a hostel.
The location is cool, just a few streets away from La Rambla and metro stations, cool authentic restaurants nearby and mostly important the 4-bed ensuite room we booked is 100% the same as described and as shown in their website!
Came across the one and only negative feedback about the hostel few days before we reached barcelona about how bad the few unrenovated rooms the guest stayed in. We're just lucky to get the new renovated room :) with air con:) And staffs are extremely helpful even when we checked in at midnight!
Will definitely visit agaiN!

Jun 25, 2009 - This hostel is easy to find and couldn't be in a better location. The staff is friendly and accomodating. Everything was absolutely spotless and the rooms, though small, were well-appointed and the beds were comfortable. Some rooms even have a small balcony, so you cans sleep with that door open. I would stay there again without hesitation and I have given their business card to many of my Spanish friends. The only negative thing is going up the 83 stairs, but you only do it once when you arrive and again when you leave. I was there with twelve college students and we all liked it.
Jun 24, 2009 - The hostel was by far the best I've been to. You will feel at your home in this place. It's very very clean and cozy; very good location with restaurants and bars around. The staff were really helpful and kind. The only negative thing was the stairs, so if you have luggage it will be a bit difficult to carry it up 3 stairs.
I will definitely come to this hostel next time in Barcelona
May 14, 2009 - I really enjoyed my stay in Pension Mari Luz. People were really friendly. Rooms are cleaned every day, a lot of tourist informations and really nice staff.

Nov 12, 2008 - Really good place, in the city center, inside a beautiful building. Nothing to say about cleanliness, just about the staff who could smile a bit more.
