Oct 26, 2009 - The TV did not work and only after repeated requests were we able to move to another room. The first room shower leaked into the bedroom. The second room air-conditioner did not work and many mosquitos. The rate was too high. As we checked out we saw some pay half of what we paid. We will never go back to this hotel again or use the travel group in Rome that reserved the hotel.

Sep 10, 2009 - We were given a room on the second floor with a shared toilet with no light and a wardrobe with only half a rail, we asked for another room and were given one on the 1st floor with en-suite, it cost us an extra 20 euros a night but boy was it worth it.

Aug 13, 2009 - I spent a really nice time in Hotel Iris. Staffs were soooo king and friendly, they always helped me. Grazie!!!!:) and it locates about 3min walk from the waterbus station, San-Toma, which is a next station of Rialto. I really recommend you this hotel!
Aug 09, 2009 - Nice position but, if you can bear the cost of the vaporetto, don't walk to it from the bus station. Catch the vaporetto to S. Toma and tou're just a couple of hundred yards away from the front door.
Food OK., Wi-Fi available but slow and prone to hang-ups and annoying failures. Otherwise a good, affordable base for exploring Venice. You'll get lost retracing your steps, but the locals are used to foreign berks and will help.
