Jun 26, 2006 - I highly recommend this hostel! The rooms were very clean and safe with lots of New York charm. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful! The best part was location, minutes from Central Park, Times Square, the museums, and all the theatres. I am staying here again on my next visit to NYC!

Apr 27, 2006 - Position was great, in the Midtown Theater District and with several subway stops close by. We had a private room which was clean, larger than I would have expected in NYC, and plenty of character. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, we did have an incident where the laundry staff were unneccessarily harsh in telling us that we could only do our laundry after 6pm when they were finished washing the linen, but it wasn't a big deal. The free coffee, tea etc. and toast in the lounge, along with big-screen TV and cheap internet, were great, and a nice place to relax and chat with other travellers. All in all I would definitely recommend this hostel to NYC visitors.
