Jan 31, 2009 - Absolutely awful. Disgusting building with stray cats running around in the hallways. Room was dirty and very run down. I would strongly advise against staying at this hostel.

Jul 22, 2008 - i had a private room and it was very nice, but the building was very sketchy. i didnt feel safe walking to my room at anytime of day. i felt better walking around hong kong alone then in the hallways.

Sep 22, 2005 - Stayed for 5 nights - all the essentials: bed, blanket, pillow, fans in the room and a shower with hot water. Only downside was the staff attitude, occasionaly were rude and quite pushy. But then your only gonna be sleeping there and the location of the place is faultless, 5 minutes to Star ferry, 2 minutes to MTR and train station, its on Nathan Rd from which a bus runs directly to the airport every 10 minutes. Its lively and a good place to meet other backpackers and travel minded people. Also check out the 16 story high apartment block in which its based: the Mirador Mansions, proper ramshackle HK at its best! All this at £5 a night makes it the best value hostel in town, for the price well recommended.
