Jun 29, 2009 - i've made a reservation and when i arived there was full so i had found an others by myself, and they just said every body make mistake; i didn't find it serious.
Jun 28, 2009 - I stayed here for 2 1/2 weeks and loved it. It was very clean (they vacuum the halls and rooms, clean the bathrooms, kitchen and halls every day). And the staff are all helpful and friendly. It's also very centrally located, but it's very noisy at night due to the bars around it, so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper!

Apr 11, 2009 - A great place to stay and see the sights. The security factor was brilliant, especially if traveling alone. Definitely the place to stay while in Dublin.
Mar 28, 2009 - Its a very good place with a friendly staff and the location is excellent, you can find easily anything what you need.

Jul 12, 2008 - I have stayed in a number of hostels around Europe, and Barnacles was one of the best. The location is very convenient for anything you want to do in Dublin, and it is close to the train station if you're going further afield. It is noisy at night because the area is very crowded with bars full of folks singing Old Lang Syne, but if you're in the bar it isn't a concern.
