Our Room (204) was a bit smelly, gum and dead small animals on the walls and the door step was loose.
But we enjoyed our stay there a lot :)
Nov 09, 2009 - Stayed in the dorm for one night and private room for two. The dorm was cheap and extremely basic, beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was another story though. Try not to use it unless you need to. They overbooked the private rooms so for the first night they had me stay in another hotel which was actually nicer than this hotel. The night that I did stay in the private room of the hotel wasn't too bad. Free internet and breakfast. Overall it's in a good location, buses to and from the airport are 4minutes walking away, city center maybe 30 minutes walking away. Would recommend again.
Oct 14, 2009 - 2nd time of staying, good hostel, great location for bars etc. Clean, comfortable and pretty quite given where it is.
Aug 31, 2009 - It is okay just to stay a couple of days. There are hundreds of stars in it, so it is not recommendable to seniors or people with mobility problems.

Jul 28, 2009 - We had to stay in another hostel, which was small but clean. We had our own bathroom, while we didn't have to pay extra for that. The staff was friendly en the location of the hostel owesome, near the Leidseplein.
Jul 27, 2009 - Really good service. If we came into, we leave baggage for some hours inside and then we go on sightseing tour. when we came back to Marnix hotel they havent our room for us. Some double reservation, or other problem with their communication. But they are good staff and the guy pay room in other hotel. thanx man..Nice location in Amsterdam and good staff
Jul 20, 2009 - Crowded room with barely any space between bunks. Common room was just a bunch of tables and only really used for the minimal breakfast. Otherwise fine.
Jun 19, 2009 - I had book one room with 6 beds, but it was so small, that I changed per one with 8 beds, it was bigger.
But the matress are bad and noiser beds...
