Jul 12, 2009 - I found the room very clean and nice. The bed was comfortable and I had a very good sleep.
As I only spent one night there I cannot say anything about Fun Factor or Personality. Staff was very friendly.
Location is good although not in the center. Bus stop to the center and the airport is in front of the door.
Jun 30, 2009 - Accueil chaleureux, staff souriant et toujours disponible, excellente situation (à 5-10 mn à pied de Temple Bar!) chambres et sanitaires simples mais très propres. Allez-y !
Jun 13, 2009 - A great hostel, comfy beds, sky TV in rooms and fully furnished. I stayed for 4 nights and was fully satisfied. For only 10 Euro a night it was great value for money. Limitations include a 20 minute walk into town and no cheap supermarket nearby, although there is a Waitrose style shop 1 min down the road.
Jun 02, 2009 - Really Great staff, people, facilities. First time I have ever stayed in a hostel and I must say I prefer it to the expensive stuffy hotels. if you want a safe, friendly place to stay Herbert Lodge is the place. Only complaint is the couple upstairs testing the bed springs every morning. But hey, making love is a good thing.8)

Jun 28, 2008 - Good value hostel for dublin, very close to RDS for concert we were attending also to city centre. Clean and safe, big rooms and friendly people around, the staff were nice & helpful, I will recommend it to friends
