Oct 19, 2009 - It was a very nice stay. Great location close to station. Ban Thai is more like staying in someone's house than a hostel. However, if you prefer nice and quiet stay, it is a good choice for you. The owner is very kind and helpful.
Oct 15, 2009 - It's like going to Thailand..It's a small little place it's close to the train station.It only has 1 bathroom though and it's small. Otherwise I enjoyed the owner, real nice guy.
Oct 12, 2009 - Good host! Reasonable shower+toilet (come-on for this rate)- if you avoiding peak time then you will be OK.
Communal area (with a cooker, a kettle with tea and coffee available include breakfast)is clean, with enough space for you to eat your food. Location is the best point, walking distance to Train station. Afterall good place to stay. I would recommend this place to friends.

Oct 03, 2009 - This place is like a flat and super comfortable and the staff is extreme nice. You have fast internet, washing machine and a cheap supermarkt next door. Lots of food and drinks are for free. Ten minutes walk to the station.
Sep 29, 2009 - The hostel was great! It was hard to find - the directions given on the website were correct, but it is in an apartment building and you have to buzz the door to get in. There is not a big sign that says 'Ban-Thai' which is what my friend and I were looking for. Once we found it, it was wonderful. The staff was very open and friendly! Very, very accommodating. However, there is just one bathroom, so the mornings will probably go slower than you would want them to. The breakfast served was wonderful though! I would recommend Ban-Thai to my friend. The location is great, the staff is great, it's cheap, and the breakfast is wonderful!
