Pension Picasso, Hostel in Barcelona

it's a pension, shared bathrooms, small rooms, but graet positionj in the middle of the ramblas, at a nice price! noteworthy is the fact that the reception is open 24/7

It was a really nice place in an excellent location. The staff was friendly, even didn´t speak English, but we understood each other. It was safe, but open 24 hours. Towels, soap, shampoo etc. for free. For have fun it isn´t a best place,but when you are tired, cause you´re comeing to Barcelona from Madrid like me (where you can´t sleep at the night), you can sleep really well in a very comfortable beds. I´ll return here.

I was really happy with my stay at Pension Picasso (for four nights) and I recomend it to other travellers on a budget. It was clean, the staff was nice and helpful (though their english was not very good) and the position is GREAT, straight on the street "where everything happens", Las Ramblas. Lying on a street that never sleeps, also means some noice as a negative consequense, though it didnt bother me too much. The room I lived on was small, but it had everything I needed, even a balcony (for two standing people) and a safe. Bathroom was shared, but always free when I had to use it ( and I also had a sink+ mirror on my room to brush my teeth etc.).Only met one other guest during my stay, so its not a social meeting area for those who want that. Reception open 24 hours so i could come and go as i liked.

It is a nice place. Very simple and small rooms, but they are clean and ok. The position is perfect, in the heart of the city, near to the sea. Can do everything by feet. It can be loud in the night, because it is on barc`s crowdedst street.
