Castelvecchio Rooms is located in a quiet street of the centre of Verona, it's well located only 50m from the Arena di Verona, and a few minutes away from the most famous monuments of the city, Juliet's Balcony and Piazza delle Erbe.

For Opera goers to the Arena this couldn't be in a better position - 5 mins. walk from the arena and very central to Verona too. 10 mins. walk to railway and bus station. It suited us perfectly and we could bob back to the B & B for a rest, and some refreshments. Staff, when we saw them, were very helpful but as we were given a key we were very independent which again suited us. We would have no hesitation in returning to Castelvecchio and recommend the accommodation to others who want to go to the Arena. We bought our Opera tickets without problem at the Box Office so if it's a rainy day don't buy a ticket. We also liked the gentleness of Verona and people were friendly. Breakfast could have been more substantial - a choice of fruit would have been nice! M and K Leach

this is the place to be if you go to verona. new renovated rooms, a pc free to use and even wifi. we were introduced to the b&b by Marina who is sooo lovely. she told us the secret places of verona and where we could get the best pizza in town (1/2 meter). the location is ok, everything you can reach by foot. the breakfast isn't too much, but it will do.
the atmosphere of the place is very local. When we got there it felt instantly very free and comfortable. The place is very nice arranged and tightdy. clean for sure. breakfast is sweet and after a long day of searching around the city, feels nice to come to to the big kitchen to chill and drink a tea. the supermarket is around the corner by the way! when we left we walk only 10 min to the train station.
I would recommend this hotel for anybody who wants to go in Verona. It is very close to the Arena and to every sightseeing as well. Main train station is only 3 stops by bus. Very helpful staff. :)
