Hostel review: Shanghai Soho Youth Hostel, Shanghai - our customers' opinion on Shanghai Soho Youth Hostel

Ich fuhr wie beschrieben mit der Metro Line 1 an die Haltestelle und von dort ist das Hostel wirklich nur 5-10 Gehminuten entfernt, fände man denn den Weg.

Dort angekommen war ich zunächst verwirrt, da das Schild am Gebäude vor dem Hostel ist und ich daher nicht dachte es dreht sich um das richtige Hostel. Das Zimmer ist im Winter kuschelig warm, aber auf den Fluren ist es eiskalt. Die Lage ist gut. Die Frauen an der Rezeption hilfsbereit und freundlich nur die Zimmermädchen sind sehr komisch.

Eine SELBSTVERSORGERKÜCHE, wie es doch in der Bbeschreibung hieß, war leider NICHT vorhanden! Es gibt heißes Wasser für Tee und eine Mikrowelle irgendwo. Das wars. Da war ich schon enttäuscht, als ich mit meinem Essen hier ankam und mir was kochen wollte um nicht noch unmengen Geld für Essen ausgeben zu müssen.

ロンドンオリンピックの時期に宿泊しました。

地下鉄の駅より歩いて５～７分位で便利です。上海駅にも２駅で行けて便利です。

横に公園があり、道路を挟んで前に川があり、散歩、休憩ができます。

川より涼しい風が吹いてきて癒されました。

６人部屋は部屋の中にバス、トイレがあり部屋は暗かったです。(１泊)

３人部屋は明るくてとても快適でした。(２泊)

スタッフもとてもフレンドリーでいろいろと教えてくださったりしました。

駅から近く、スタッフも英語を話せたので快適に過ごせました。

The location was good, and the staff were kind too.

In the room there were few things doesn't belong to anyone. It would be better if those things were thrown away.

It was a great hostel stay. We stayed here with a large group of 20 honours students from Zuyd University and we where delighted about the great this great hostel.

They do need to fix the wallpaper because this is hanging a bit to loose.

Good bathroom and very good bar/breakfast service!

I really enjoyed staying at this hostel.

The only disadvantage is - in the morning the corridors get so noisy, that you will wake up immediately. Besides I really enjoyed my stay there:)

ドミトリーにシャワー／トイレがなく、共同で狭くて使いにくい。洋式トイレは詰まっていて、汚水が溢れそうになっていたのが残念でした。

ダブルルーム一泊と４人部屋一泊しました。

バス＆トイレは一体型で日本人には向かないと思います。

共同バスも水はけが悪く、水の出も悪いです。

部屋はエアコンではなく、ファンのみでかなり暑かったです。外観は老房子っぽくて素敵ですが、あまり居心地はよくなくて２泊で他のホステルに移動しました。

エンターテイメントはバー内で映画など充実していたと思いますが、ホステルといってもある程度の清潔さと快適さを求める方だと、おすすめできません。

そして、ここは半数以上が中国のほかの都市から来た人で溢れていました。夏休みを利用して学校行っているとか言ってました。

Personnel is not able to speak english. They are rude and do not try to help in your doubts about excursions or how to get places.

The bar is cool, but there is not party any day of the week.

Public rooms are not clean but private rooms are very nice.

Although location and athmosfere is great i would not repeat my experience in Shangai Soho Youth Hostel, when you are in China you do not need a nice hostel but a helpful staff to help you with the difficulty of the language and the city.

上海の他のユースホステルを利用したことがないので比較はできませんが滞在に不便はありませんでした。最寄り駅が地下鉄１号線で人民広場、上海駅に近い、最寄り駅から宿までの途中にスーパーがあるという立地条件は良いと思います。
