Hotel Paris Magenta Strasbourg, Hotel ★ in Paris

Buget hotel, old (run down?) ok if you oly want a place to sleep. Its forbiden to smoke indoors in paris but the smell of cigarett smoke is still in the walls. They clean the rooms and changes the sheet and towels every day. Small loby with no place to meet people, so no fun factor. Lokated four bloks from Place the la republique near the metro station of Chateau d'Eau (line 4) and Jacques Bonsengent (line 5) The front desk speak only french but they realy try to help as much as they can.

Nice staff, situation is good nextby the Republique Square with all its restaurants, metro, etc.. Rooms on the Bvd Magenta are very noisy, you need some ear plugs if you want to sleep.

this is great hotel as a reasonable hotel in paris. this location is close from republic that became my favorite place. it is 5 to 10 mins to gare de est too. the room is not super clean but classic looking and large space.

Old hotel, with only a staircase to all floors. The room was clean but the view from the window was facing the opposite wall.The staff was friendly. The location is in a seedier part of town but we never felt threatened.
