DIRTY, UNSAFETY!
I had my PRIVATE room stolen and I missed more then 200 euros.
You can go there if you want a breakfast with hairs.
You can go there if you want take a shower with cold water.
You can go there if you wont to know the most dirty bathroom that you ever saw.
If you want to sleep and wake up with thief in your room looking to you!
NEVER GO THERE.
Is extremely EXPENSIVE for what you will find there!

We had a very nice stay. Slept well at night, had hot water and breakfast every day. The hostel was clean and just several steps from Hyde park.

The hostel is cheap but that's about all that's recommendable. Except one gentleman and the breakfast lady, the staff were all rather uninterested in their guests' welfare. The hostel itself is in urgent need of repair: the showers were either dysfunctional or a mere trickle, the rooms were not overly clean, the drain of our washbasin was clogged, the window was stuck and the room unbearably hot. The furniture is old and creaking. But the location is splendid.

Very central and is perfect is you want to reach all parts of London. The place works great as a place to keep your things, sleep and other needs. Breakfast isn't good at all, buy our own instead!

Our friend got rashes from the bedsheets and there were no air in the room. Location was pretty good.

Hostel has very good position, stuff is pleasant and breakfast is OK.BUT hostel is very dirty,everything was sticky,linen were quite ok,but not ironed.This is hostel only for sleaping,not for girls who like purity, my partner was ok with it.I'm really not planning to go back, next time I would rather pay more and I will be in cleaner hostel.

The Room was ok, but the bathroom and toilets are not clean enough, there is no soap at the wc's. Not enough showers. The carpets are too old and siffy. The walls are too thin, so that One can hear everything word of the neigbours. Nevertheless, it is located very centrally (2 minutes to the Subway picadilly, District and Circle line). Regarding the cheap Price, its ok!!

The room was extremelny narrow, no table, just one small drawer to put your stuff on. They claimed to have a laundry but there wasn't any and they sent me to one next street (which didn't work either). Breakfast was poor, but sufficient. The wifi rarely worked.

Quite nice hostel. I didn't even expect, but there is a bathroom in 8 bedded room. And it is clean! Big minus for leak of common spoons, knives, plates etc.in the kitchen. You should have your own cutlery if you want to use the kitchen after breakfast.

sheets and pillows are clean, the rest is not. hostel needs renewal. staff is not very pleasant, but ok. position is great. Not very fun, nothing to do. There's no tv, no radio.

Very cheap but not the nicest hostel to visit. A plus for the cheapness and the location, very close to underground and the city. Big minus for the shower that's either freezing cold or extremely hot and our room didn't have a locker(!), so actually anyone could go in and steal stuff. Luckily, that didn't happen. But the staff was nice, and the room was cleaned everyday, so if you want to find a really cheap hostel and you don't have any valuable stuff to protect, this is the hostel for you :)

The positions is excellent! And, what's important, it's safe. The rooms are not small, it depends on which floor you have your room: these in basements are bigger than others. Unfortunately, ou have very small variety of products for breakfast: there are only tosts, butter, jam, milk and corn flakes - I had to buy something more for breakfast. You have a fridge in your room so it's not a problem to keep there your own food.

This is is hostel but it has some hotel standards like breakfast, sheets in the beds and staff in the reception all day. This makes it very practical. But the house was not in a good condition. Everything makes a worn-out and not so clean impression. For example one of the toilets were smelly. In the other toilet the wash basin was out of work and couldn´t be used so we had to go to our room to wash hands. In our room there was a refridgerator, wich we apprechiated, but it was dirty. There was supposed to be a kitchen, but there was only a sink, an oven and a microwave oven. No plates, knifes, forks and other equipment what so ever. It worked out because they served breakfast, (a very simple breakfast) though the small basement "kitchen" was not a nice environment to eat in. But the price is low, and the possibilities to eat out are great. You can also warm up a dinner if you buy plastic spoon or so, to keep your travelling costs down. You can easily walk to Kensington Gardens from there or to the Underground station South Kensington and then reach the rest of London. The staff were helpful and nice. I can recommend this hostel to those who want to spend there money and time on London and not on the hotel.

It was really pleasant staying at Acacia Hostel!
Ideally located between Natural History Museum and Science museum. Only 5min walking from South Kensington station.
Atmosphere was correct, warm rooms, clean bathrooms and quiet.
Good value for money.

Acacia Hostel is a very nice and cheap place to stay for a few nights in London. Very well placed with the MNH just around the corner and near the subway station it has all the basic conforts a person needs. I enjoyed and I strongly recommend it to backpackers.

Unfortunatelly the hotel was far below my expectations. The room was rather dirty, the beds and the sheets were quite unpleasant. The bathrooms did not have any blinds or curtains, so everyone could see you taking the shower. And finally there were only two toasts for breakfast what might be not enought for everyone.
If I had known the conditions in Acacia Hotel, I would have never decided to stay there.

Its a decent hostal, its easy to get there and there are cheap small shops to buy something to eat
The person attending the kitchen for breakfast wasn't a kind person
They received us eventhough we arrived at 04:00 am, that was cool.

One of the bathrooms was OK on our floor. It would be good to renew the other one as well. The rooms are quite good(except the washbasin). Unfortunatelly the kitchen is too small so we had to wait a lot for having a place. But we were satisfied.

You get what you pay for, it´s totally okey! Kind of cheap brekfast, but as I said, you get what you pay for, and im pleased with the hotel! The only big negative thing would be the cold rooms. All in all, a good hotel, with a helpful staff and close to the underground! =D

Hi! I come from Romania and stayed at this hostle for one week.All in all Iwas happy with the conditions provided:hot water running 24 hours.clean bed stuff, fridge,shower facilities and breakfast.What more should you expect for a budget traveller? The good means of transport nearby as well as the best museums worth visiting made me wish to come again here for accommodation!So go for it and do not believe the snobs who are negativists!
